Engineer, Product Design
Responsibilities include design, documentation,
testing, and industrialization of new and refined bicycle trailer products.
You’ll work
closely with other members of this high
performance team to ensure the product is designed and manufactured
to achieve the high level of performance, safety, and quality that Burley
is known for.
This position requires a Bachelor degree
in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent,
and a minimum of 2 years of product design
experience using CAD software (SolidWorks
or similar). Strong drafting skills required.
A strong working knowledge of design
for manufacturing processes including machining, injection
molding, punch and press work, and assembly
is desired. Prefer
candidates who have experience in and
passion for the outdoor industry. Some
travel required.
Product Manager
Position is responsible for conducting market,
competitive, and financial pro forma analyses,
developing product criteria for safety, quality and performance,
managing product development cycles and leading project teams.
The position requires working knowledge of MS Office products and
internet research tools, the ability to synthesize various research
materials into useful data for the development of business strategy,
product and pricing familiarity, strong oral and written communication
skills, and a minimum of two years of product management experience,
preferably in the bicycle or outdoor industry
Administrative Assistant, Product Development
Position is responsible for providing administrative support to
the Product Development team. Required
skills include a working knowledge of MS
Office products and internet research tools,
experience in providing administrative support, and strong organizational
skills. Experience with document control is a plus. Valuable
traits include strong interpersonal skills,
flexibility and a desire to have fun on
the job.
