What is the normal / estimated age when kids grow out of these? What is the height / headroom like inside?

Would this be compatible with a fat tire e-bike?

Can you use the double capacity stroller for only one kid?

Yes, all of our kid bike trailers with a two-seat capacity can be used with single riders!

I want to use the double capacity trailer for my two children 42lbs and 28lbs. This is still well within the total weight capacity, but not the individual child weight limit. Is there a reason why this might not be safe? thanks,

Hello! Thank you for your question. The 40 lb. weight capacity per child is an industry standard and we do not recommend exceeding it.

How young can a child be to go into this trailer or do I need an insert if they are younger than a year?

Children must be at least 12 months old and be able to hold their head up while wearing a bicycle helmet to use the Burley Bee. The Baby Snuggler insert does not change the recommended age. Thanks for the question!
