Rated 5 out of 5 by from NY twin lifesaver!!! Asked my father to get this for our new twins. Living in NYC without a car, this has become our best mode of transportation. I can pull them behind to anywhere I want and then switch out the wheel so it becomes a stroller. So much easier than the subway. As an avid runner, the running wheel is a must have and once set correctly gives you great freedom. It is also our go to stroller in winter (thanks to closing the compartment ) and rolls wonderfully on snow. I don't particularly like owning stuff but I have recently stated that this is the best thing I own with my bike! It is really amazing. I have also used it to go shopping at Costco and just walked in and loaded the trailer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely love my trailer! I'm really into biking and was in the market looking for the perfect trailer for my daughter. Knowing we were going to have two kids, I wanted to purchase a two seat trailer and looked at various choices. I liked the features on this model - adjustable suspension, UV protected side windows, collapsible construction, ability to convert to a jogger, extra shoulder room, available accessories, adjustable sun visor and safety features such as reflectors, reflective strips and flag. This unit is extremely well built and super smooth. We ended up getting the infant inset, jogger wheel and stroller wheels (which are our favorite).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Trailer/Stroller Combo The Burley d'Lite has been an awesome investment for our family. With about a dozen rides so far this spring, I am extremely happy with the design and quality of this product. We decided to upgrade our hand me down Burley Cub bike trailer and get rid of our double stroller, mostly for the sake of space. Our 18 month old absolutely loves the ride and often doesn't want to get out when we get back home. There is plenty of room for our growing family. We have a three year old buddy who sometimes rides with us to the park and they fit comfortably with drinks, snacks and a diaperbag. We love how quickly it folds and unfolds. I don't think you can go wrong with the Burley d'Lite!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great investment! We have used the Burley line for about 4 years and have been very satisfied. We recently upgraded to a Burley D'Lite to accommodate our growing family. It fits our 2 and 4 year old comfortably. The suspension and bowed sides were the tipping point for choosing this model and we've been glad we spent the extra money for those features. The one minor complaint we have about the D'Lite is the velcro on the back hatch flap. We are worried that will wear out more quickly than an elastic strap/hook closure. it makes us feel limited to the number of times we open and close the back storage area. Other than that, we think the trailer is a wonderful investment for any family with 2 kids who want to be outside on their bikes!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great bike carrier. My only complaint is that initially my 19 month old wasn't able to sit in his burley with a helmet on without having the back of the helmet pushing up against the back netting so much that he couldn't hold his neck up straight. We got a helmet with no angled back specifically for this reason, but the way the netting in the back is designed it still caused him a problem. We looked online and it seemed like this was an issue for others as well. We wound up putting a pillow behind him (one that is small enough that it still fits under his shoulder blades) so that there was enough space between him and the netting that he could finally sit upright. Hopefully they will fix this design flaw in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So I started off with the instep trailer, then the Aosom and finished with the D'lite. Burley makes an untouchable product and I couldn't be happier!! My 2 boys fit comfortably and secure and aren't being wiped around due to a sloppy hitch connection or loose frame. Although the burley is top dollar, the money was well spent!! We will NEVER get rid of this thing. The one thing I'm disappointed in it the hard plastic stroller wheels that are sold separately. I just wish they were a rubber flat resistant tire to maintain the smooth ride

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seems pretty flawless Purchased to be able to get around with our first child, moreso so far for daycare transport than for fun outings. Decided to get the two-seater because weight and cost differential seemed minor, and has extra space, etc, etc -- no regrets about that. Started using it when our daughter hit 12 months (probably not wise to take younger babies on a bike -- in any format), and she's generally taken well to it. Now (at 19 months' age) she loves it, runs over to it when she sees it. She's been warm and cozy inside on many chilly rainy Seattle evenings, no leaks or condensation issues whatsoever. I've towed it approximately 150 miles in aggregate now ... and have no complaints whatsoever. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Burley has invited me to write a review even though we own an older model... This new model does seem to address some of the points I don't like about ours. 1. The flag thing as mentioned elsewhere. I resolved this with a little sand paper. 2. Hitch attachment can be a pain when wrangling two kids and a bike. Kick stands recommended (none of my bikes have them). 3. The new new harness looks nice. Ours is ok. As others mentioned, kids helmet pushes forward due to the "seat" and causes discomfort. 4. Parking brake - ok for temp usage. I would like to store with brake on but my version has tire pinching brake. Ski kit works great but will wreck groomed tracks. Go for flat groomed or trail blazing. We probably use it as much for a stroller as we do for biking. Great for that also.

Can the single wheel stroll conversion kit (simular to what comes with the Honey Bee model) be used with this model?

Asked by: Lynn4
The 1-Wheel Stroller Kit, 2-Wheel Stroller Kit, Double Jogger Kit, and the We! Ski Kit are all compatible accessories with the D'Lite child trailer.

I have read in the manual it is advised for the child to sit in the center to distribute weight evening when carrying only one child. Does this trailer allow for a child to be seated in the center? If so, how would you need to configure it?

Asked by: Jennifer
The manual for our current product will suggest seating a single child on the right hand side of the trailer. Double child trailer models from previous to 2016 have a center seating option.

How old does my child need to be to ride in this model? We have a one month old that will be three months old by the time spring arrives.

Asked by: Andy
Burley suggests waiting until the age of 1-year old before being towed behind a bicycle. 6-months old for use with Burley strolling accessories.

are any of the seats a bench seat or are they all suspened?

Asked by: nicoleg179
All of our child trailer seats are suspended from the frame. The D'Lite, Solo, Cub, & Encore seats have some added rigidity side to side.

What is the difference between the d lite and the cub? Major differences if any  Thank you

Asked by: Diana
The D'Lite and Cub both have all the premium features. The rigid double wall plastic tub/floor of the Cub is the major difference.
