Wingfoil hauler

"I got his the haul wing foil gear with my ebike. So easy to use and assembled. Easy to disconnect from bike too. I didn’t realize I needed separate adapter for my through axel so had to order that after the trailer arrived but shipping was fast and easy."

Top Quality

"Great trailer!"

Car Free And Proud Of It

"I made a good choice. This going to be perfect for carrying all the things I need to transport. Not to mention traveling from Miami to Tampa and going camping. Why ruff it, when you don't need to. I have a Burley Travor and it has been great. This Flat bed is going to take care of the loads that the Travor can't. Oh I love the larger wheels that I got for it. It just make it look mean. And so capable."

Works well

"Just need some anchor points for bungees"

good but could be better for the price

"its a good trailer I just wish it had a solid loor instead of the fabric that will not last long and I wish the axle blocks were metal instead of plastic it will hold a flight case and speaker to transport DJ gear with a Ebike and it gets groceries"

Heathens H. (4/5)

Highly adaptable compact trailer!

"The flatbed's opened up new ways to go biking and camping -- we can carry so much more on bike trips around the city (like taking our folding canoe on the ferry). And we can fit bike camping gear for the whole family more easily. Plus when we go car camping, we also use this as a hand cart to help move items to the campsite. When we're not using the trailer, it folds flat in seconds and hides away in a small corner of our closet. It's been a blast so far!"

Damaged during shipping Burley Flatbed.

"Burley Flatbed damaged during shipping. The shipping box was delivered damaged and when I open it, the axle was scraped to the point of alter the axle shaft opening. I requested assistance from customer service and waiting for resolution."

Great cart

"Thing is awesome! I have it attached to a surron bike to haul scuba gear. Not only does it haul gear, but it hauls firewood as well!!"

The Little red Wagon for

"The Little red Wagon for my Pup Bosco was made with the carriage of the Buley Flatbed. It is the 4th wagon I built for him I incuded pictures of the 3rd one which I rode Bosco in for about 12000 miles worth of trips til the spokes started breaking. We had a whole story about us which can be read here: https://www.inquirer.***/life/dog-rescue-adoption-shelter-pet-cats-20210104.html I would love to work for you guys designing specialty trailers."

Q&A

I have a Burley Flat Bed. I have a question about the wheels. When the lever is in the "out" position, I can easily put the wheels on the axle. I then tighten them by trying to flatten the levers. They will not go completely, not even half way, no matter how hard I push. I do not want to take a hammer to them! The levers continue to stick out 3 inches and constantly catch on bushes and other things. Is there any way to adjust these so that they will close?
Hello! Thank you for the question. It sounds like you may have an older model of the Flatbed that uses quick-release axles. Our recommendation is to inspect the wheel and trailer axle components to ensure they are undamaged. Then, you can try applying a small amount of lubricant to the axle to assist with the installation. If you continue to have issues, please reach out to our Customer Support team for assistance. Their email address is: Burley@burley.com. Thanks!

Yes, the Burley Flatbed™ features a compact folding design. The side rails can be removed, and the wheels pop off easily with push-button mechanisms, allowing the trailer to fold flat for convenient storage and transport.

Yes, the Flatbed™ is designed with a two-wheel chassis that provides excellent stability, ensuring that the trailer remains upright even on uneven surfaces. The flex connector hitching mechanism keeps the trailer upright even if the bike itself tips over.

While the Flatbed™ is primarily designed for urban and road use, it can handle light off-road conditions thanks to its durable aluminum frame and stable two-wheel design. It is compatible with the Burley 16+ Wheel Kit which can be installed to provide wider tires with more rugged tread for stability in off-road conditions. However, Burley also offers the single-wheel Coho XC, which is better suited for narrow and uneven trails or singletrack.

Yes, the Flatbed™ attaches to most bikes with its forged aluminum hitch, which is compatible with standard quick-release skewers, nutted axles, and 12mm thru-axles. This makes it versatile for different bike models.
