Joy Rides!

"Whenever I head out for an adventure with my 3 Pekingese and our Tail Wagon, I say to my girls, "Do you want to go tail wagging? And they know what I am talking about and load right up happily. We have so much fun out there all together, and the wagon is a great way to transport small dogs around that maybe do not want to walk too far."

Tail Wagon

"Much smaller than expected"

Its good but not great!

"I finally got the tail trailer for my pet. It was more expensive than I expected, and it didn’t fit straight out of the box, at least for my e-bike. I had to figure out which axle I needed, so I took it to my local bike shop, and they ordered and fitted it. I have two bikes—a road bike and an e-bike—and it’s very long to maneuver with the e-bike since that’s large too. It has no brakes, so it relies on the bike or e-bike it’s attached to. On the plus side, it’s sturdy and durable, but there’s no built-in attachment to keep the dog inside, though you could add something if your dog isn’t used to staying in the trailer. When you stop, the bike can tip over unless park it next to a curb. I try to do this. It’s easy to fold down and store away, but it can be bit rough for my dog over bumps since there’s no suspension or parking brake. I think there’s an aftermarket option for that, and wheels could be sturdier for rough trails. That might become irrelevant soon with the new e-bike classification laws. I do like the idea of adding lights—there are spots for that—and the bonus of the flag is nice. I do think it's too heavy for my road bike right now because the pet is within the allowed weight but almost at the limit. the end I am not sure I am strong enough or fit enough to pull/drag it after my road bike at the moment."

Horrible customer service

"Really terrible customer service"

Fun with Humphrey

"I have enjoyed seeing my English Bull Terrier have fun alone with me as I ride on my e-bike."

Theresa A. (5/5)

Great design but weak materials

"This was super easy to attach to our bike, well balanced, and nice features. Unfortunately, our dog managed to rip the mesh material on our very first outing. Would love if the materials could withstand a little more heavy use. Now not sure how we will repair the mesh as the individual panels don’t seem replaceable."

Best Trailer Ever

"We love this trailer! It is so secure and we really appreciate knowing our pups are safe in there while we’re riding. Plus it’s so easy to assemble, attach, and detach. Thank you Burley!"

Kaitlyn G. (5/5)

Easy To Use

"Very easy to attach it to my bike. I have a quick release. Our dog loves riding around in it. With the pet bed it's quite comfortable for her. The pockets on the back are great for stashing things in like a leash, treats, or waste bags."

Spencer T. (5/5)

This wagon is of excellent

"This wagon is of excellent quality. I just wish it had a more secure flap, maybe a zipper, as some times my dog can burrow out."

Q&A

Will this trailer fit a 60lb dog? We are not interested in having the stroller conversion feature, so we would rather save some money and go with this model, but I'm not sure our dog would fit?
Thank you for the question! The Tail Wagon has a weight capacity of 75 lbs, so no issues there! You can also review our Pet Trailer Size Guide video for more information: https://burley.com/blogs/videos/pet-trailer-size-guide
Can I fix the tail wagon on the Coho® XC trailer?
Thank you for the question! It sounds like you are wondering whether you can attach the Tail Wagon to the Coho XC trailer. If so, you unfortunately cannot make this connection. Let our customer service team know if you have any other questions. Their email address is burley@burley.com.
In some of your comment responses, you mention leash loops for tethering your pup in the trailer. Any advice on how to find these? They are mentioned in the manual or your video and I'm having trouble finding them on the wagon itself.
Thank you for the question! The Tail Wagon was redesigned in 2023 and no longer contains leash loops. This is to prevent the dog from becoming tangled inside the trailer. Please let our customer service team know if you have any other questions. Their email address is burley@burley.com
How is this waterproof? The previous version had rain overs built in over the mesh to roll down if it rain, the new green version doesn't have this?
Thank you for your question! The new version of the Tail Wagon no longer includes plastic covers over the mesh windows. Please contact our customer service team for further assistance if necessary. Their email address is: Burley@burley.com
