          Poor Harness Design

          "I really like most aspects of the Burley Dash RM bike seat for my 22 month old son, but it has some significant flaws when it comes to the harness restraint system. It took my 22 month old about 5 minutes to figure out how to get his arms out of the harness due to the lack of a chest clip. I have found this complaint across other reviews now and wish I had seen that earlier. The foot restraints are rock solid, but now that he knows he can escape the shoulder straps, it takes him about 10 seconds after we start moving to free himself. For the price, I expected much better. I will need to buy an aftermarket clip or harness or design something myself before I will feel safe riding with my child again."

          "Easy install on my existing rack! 1 year old is a big fan, and makes our daycare commute much more fun than a boring car. Seat is sturdy, and I was surprised how stable it felt on my bike. Ordered online and it came promptly. Includes helpful installation instructions."

          "I bought two of the rack-mounted version to stick on the back of a Bike Friday Haul-a-Day Elite. The part of the seat that is meant to keep the passengers' feet out of the spokes was not straight. Some of them bent inward towards the wheel and created issues sliding the seat onto the rack and got caught on the cargo bag/hammocks. Some bent outwards and then the back of my foot bumped into them. It would be nice if they were removable. Also, the seats don't fit the bike if the top platform is installed on the back. That's more on Bike Friday, but they are intertwined companies and should be compatible."
