Unexpectedly the best touring setup I’ve ever used
"I’ve been using a Burley Travoy for more than 3 years and have ridden over 9,000 km with it attached to my Specialized Diverge carbon gravel bike. Before discovering the Travoy, I travelled with panniers and constantly had problems: broken spokes, wheels going out of true, more punctures and a heavily loaded bike that felt sluggish and less enjoyable to ride. The Travoy completely changed my experience. I know Burley mainly promotes it as an urban trailer, but I believe it’s a hidden gem for bike touring. I’ve used it on roads, gravel paths, agricultural tracks and all kinds of non-technical terrain, and it has performed flawlessly. I’ve never broken anything or had any reliability issues. One of my biggest trips was an 8-day round trip from Valencia to Barcelona and back, carrying about 14 kg in total, including the trailer itself. What I love most is that my bike still feels like a gravel bike instead of a pack mule. The handling remains agile, comfortable and efficient, especially during long days of 100+ km. After thousands of kilometres, I genuinely believe this setup puts less stress on the bicycle than traditional panniers. If you’re a cyclist who mixes road riding with light gravel and enjoys multi-day adventures, don’t overlook the Travoy just because it’s marketed as a city trailer. It deserves much more recognition in the bikepacking and touring world. Burley accidentally created one of the smartest long-distance touring solutions I’ve ever used."

Worth every penny … Travoy for the win!
"My Travoy trailer is extremely well designed with many mounting features and bags securement built into the rack. Extremely good quality build and tows behind my Ebike at 30 miles an hour with no problem. It takes bumps stride. I wasn’t excited about paying up about $100 for the two travel bags built for the unit, but I would highly recommend getting them as they clip into the frame with zero drama. The bags have a great capacity, making large trips to the grocery store breeze. The unit folds up in a nice package compact package. Game changer since I don’t tow a vehicle with my RV…e-bike+Travoy is an awesome solution !"

Worth every Cent!
"I've had it for a few years now as seen in the picture shown is my present e-bike but purchased it while I had my other e-bike so I've definitely had it for quite a few years now and I just mostly go to the market back and forth with it don't put a lot of extenuous miles on it and the attachment on it are of my own making."

Excellent for Golf
"I have player 50+ rounds over the past 2 years. Play much faster than walking with substantially less fatigue - I actually played 36 hole once! (Also a lot more fun)"

My second Travoy
"First Travoy I bought in 2010 and have used for getting groceries, transporting instruments (sax, etc. ) to gigs, and other purposes. Center hinge no longer articulated (cable broke) 4 years ago, but I still used it, though unfoldable. Then the top hinge did the same thing. So I ordered a new trailer, which came with a well designed pack and courier bag. This week I got the repair kit to fix the old trailer, not sure if I’ll keep two or sell the old one. Still haven’t used the new one, but that time will come."

Folds quicky and easily. The
"Folds quicky and easily. The straps are well thought out and accommodate different loads. The trailer pulls smoothly and connects easily to different bikes."

Fencing bag on Burley Travoy
"Yesterday, I unboxed my Burley Travoy, and my initial reaction is very positive. As someone who frequently evaluates gear for practicality and fit, I was particularly curious to see how it would handle a rather awkward load: my fencing bag. This bag is substantial—measuring 120 cm in length, 40 cm in width, and 35 cm in height—and contains all of my fencing equipment. Right out of the box, the Travoy felt well-built and thoughtfully designed. Mounting it to the bike was straightforward, and the bag settled in securely without awkward overhangs. From a first-impression standpoint, this is exactly what I was hoping for: a solution that allows me to bike to training instead of relying on the car. I’ll need more rides to see how it performs in real-world conditions, but so far, the convenience factor is already clear."

I can’t say enough good
"I can’t say enough good things about the Burley bike trailer. From the moment we took it out for our first ride, it exceeded all expectations. The build quality is outstanding — sturdy, safe, and clearly designed with both kids and parents in mind. It tows incredibly smoothly, even on uneven terrain, and the suspension makes for a very comfortable ride. What I love most is how easy it is to attach and detach from the bike. The quick-fold design also makes it super convenient for storage or travel. The safety features, like the 5-point harness and bright reflectors, give me total peace of mind."
