In Burley’s 40 year history, their focus has always been on children, safety, and the bike community. Burley is launching efforts to further support the bike community by getting kids on bikes and supporting ridership programs for teen student athletes.
Free Bikes 4 Kidz
Free Bikes 4 Kidz is a non-profit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into a happier, healthier childhood by providing bikes to those most in need. The public donates gently used bikes, we organize thousands of volunteers to clean and refurbish them, and then we give them away to kids in need.

Burley & FB4K
Burley’s team has set the groundwork and is leading the charge for a new chapter of Free Bikes 4 Kidz in their hometown of Eugene-Springfield. FB4K is an amazing program that began in Minneapolis in 2008. It has continued to grow as a program, and now has 7 chapters throughout the United States. Burley and its employees are excited to be a part of this program and look forward to seeing all the smiles riding on two wheels.
National Interscholastic Cycling Association
Founded in 2009, the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (“NICA”) develops interscholastic mountain biking programs for student-athletes across the United States. NICA provides leadership, services and governance for regional leagues to produce quality mountain bike events, and supports every student-athlete in the development of strong mind, strong body and strong character through interscholastic cycling.

Burley is also excited to sponsor the new Oregon National Interscholastic Cycling Association chapter in their home state. NICA is an exciting program that spearheads the development of teen riders, building a community with a focus on bikes, trails, and riders. By supporting programs involving the first moments rolling on two wheels, to the endorphin pumping interscholastic races, Burley strives to continue the progress of a growing cycling community.
