Bark Ranger^® Kickstand

Expensive for what it is,

"Expensive for what it is, but actually necessary for my dog while we are working on training her to be comfortable getting in and out of the trailer. On the recommendation of a couple other reviewers, I bought two kickstands to put on the front and back of the trailer. This was a good suggestion. If I don't have both down, my dog definitely gets scared when she feels the trailer get tippy. I might not need the kickstand on the front eventually once I put the front wheel on, but since training indoors is going to take a long while for my dog, having both kickstands is useful."

Great for stabilizing carrier for loading and unloading dogs

Helps cautious dogs feel more comfortable getting in and out of the trailer

"Easy to install and makes the Ranger much more stable when stationary. Training on getting in and out of the trailer slowed down a bit after adding the wheels since, even with the breaks on, it was a little wobbly. Added the kickstand and the trailer became a place to hang and relax. He even started going into the trailer on his own to relax! (See pic)"

"My dog loves going for rides in her Burly. She goes out in the garage to sit in it, which is where the kickstand comes in. Keeps her from flipping over when it isn’t attached to a bike.😀"

A must have accessory

"I have been using our Bark Ranger XL as a stroller for a 60 lb. senior dog. It was immediately apparent that additional stability was needed at the rear end of the carriage. Loading and unloading was unstable and it rocked off balance when the dog’s weight shifted to the rear. Installation was quick and easy. I knocked off a star because I feel this is not an expensive item to make and should be included as a standard feature on a $700 trailer. Also, it’s easy enough to push the stand up and out of service with a foot, but it’s a difficult for me to reach down under and to the side to grab and deploy it."
