Cub® is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I decided to go with the Cub over the D'lite because of the hard bottom. It weighs more, yes buts hardly noticeable, and gives me a little more piece of mind knowing it won't wear and tear and easily. Right now I only have one son and he is 5 months old, but I bought this in mind of eventually having two or more kids. It's one of the biggest bike trailers you can find out there (my Burley dwarfs other cheap bike trailers I see in town). It's big, but fits through standard doorways and fits into our cars trunk easily. I bought the 2016 model because of a few reasons: the improved safety flag holder, the new design of the spot where you attach the wheels and the arm (I can't think of the proper name) and the new attachment that goes on your bike (improved after the recall). Otherwise the older '13-'15 models work just as well. I also bought the burley baby snuggler and the jogger and swivel wheel attachments. My next buy is the wheel that attaches to the end of the arm so I don't have to switch out wheel attachments when I go inside of a store. Burley is a well known and well respected brand, I do not regret my purchase in the slightest.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from After careful consideration and some help of Burley's customer service (many thanks to Jay) we chose to go for the cub instead of the d'lite. Because there are few reviews of the burley cub available, I 'll try to make it as complete as I can. The cub as a stroller (2015 model) We have two young children (21 and 7 months old) and to make transporting them a little easier, we bought a double stroller. We sold it when we got the burley cub, because it is easier to manoeuvre, has more storage space and is still small enough to fit in our trunk and through doorways. Together with the cub we bought the two wheel stroller kit. It works fine, but there are some minor flaws... One of the wheels doesn't touch the ground, and hence doesn't always turn when I want it to. Especially on slippery (or very smooth floors) it's no problem outside, unless you want to make a sharp turn. It is also a lot of work to change from trailer to stroller with the two wheel kit (but the one wheel kit doesn't have that problem) Cargo space is enormous and sufficient for transporting my groceries (or two diaper bags and a deryan travel cot) Pros: - Easy to manoeuvre (even fully loaded) - Spacious cargo area - Fits through normal doorways - beautifully designed Cons - one of the stroller wheels doesn't touch the ground (even when loaded) - Stroller wheels don't always swivel in the right direction. Sometimes they even block and I manually have to adjust them. - Screen doesn't go all the way up. (you can hold the rain cover up, not the entire cover, so kids are always covered with mesh) As a bike trailer : As a bike trailer, the cub runs smoothly and is surprisingly lightweight. We decided to go for the cub as Dutch weather is known for being unpredictable and the hard bottom prevents the children from getting soaking wet. It works really well... Last ride I started off in the sun, but along the ride it started raining and I even had to go through some hail. The kids were still dry and smiling. (yes, they love it!) Even though the cub is compact, I drove around my very tall 7 and 5 year old nieces and they were fine in it (snug, but not tight) The brake rattles a bit while riding, but it doesn't bother me. There are two things that do bother me- The seat doesn't recline (as the information states) it can be loosened, but that doesn't allow for a sleeping position. Also the seat is to narrow for the cub. My oldest likes to rest her head against the window but that is impossible, because there is to much space between the window and the seat. Also it is difficult to attach the trailer to the bike when it is not completely straight. My bike stand puts the bike in a slightly sloped position and I need someone to hold it up before I can attach the trailer. Pros - Lightweight (even with a 7 and 5 year old) - Spacious - Easy to tow - Weather proof - Spacious cargo area - Visible due to lights Cons - Seat doesn't recline - Seat is slightly narrow - Brake rattles whilst riding Overall I am really happy with the cub and hope to use it for many years!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I did me research read tons of reviews. Burley was my favorite in style and safety. I went back and forth as the cub is a lot of money but I took it for it first ride with my 7month old and both her and I loved it. I love the hard bottom and am hoping it hold up better over time with more kids to come. It pulled smooth and I had to remind myself that it was back there. I am as of now very happy with the purchase. It was very easy to set up and hook up to my bike. Also really like the seat and the harness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bike Trailer, Easy to Use I have really enjoyed this bike trailer. I was searching for a bike trailer to take my kids to daycare in, so I wanted something robust, which is why I went to the Burley Cub. I've used it for more than six months, and used it practically daily from about two months. It has nice features that keep my kids secure and protected from the elements. It seems pretty roomy for the kids compared to other bike trailers I've used. It also has a decent amount of storage space and can be turned into just a trailer by removing the seats. All the attachments and such work well and are fairly simple to use. Here are the cons: It's pretty heavy (which is to be expected due to the solid bottom), but I feel that it's worth having the durability and protection. It bends the rear axle of my bike. Not sure if that is a design flaw in the Cub or just the result of using a bike trailer. I think the bike shop felt like that is something that might just happen. Thankfully it's a pretty easy and cheap repair. Overall, I'd still say it's a 5-star bike trailer.d

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent trailer We bought the Cub just a month ago and use it 2-3 times a week for 5-7 mile family bike rides. You barely feel any extra weight behind you. (NOTE: We do live in a flat area.) It's a smooth ride for my little man and has great storage. The hard bottom is easy to clean up and keeps water from spraying up into the cabin. It is heavy to lift in and out of a car trunk, but overall we have been thrilled with our purchase.
