Rated 4 out of 5 by from We are really happy with the build and design. The fact that it is convertible to a stroller was a big selling point to us as the combo saved us quite a bit! There is sizeable storage to fit some things and the ease of mounting/dismounting the stroller from the receiver was simple. It folds up nice and flat for winter storage as well. The only complaint that we have is the width of the seating area. We thought it was enough, but for two kids on long rides/walks, it is cramped and they have to fight over shoulder space. A little more width would make this the perfect trailer/stroller for long rides and long walks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE this product! So lightweight, easy to break down and transport. My kids have PLENTY of room and the storage in the back is fabulous! It is great off paved surfaces--I have never had an issue pushing it anywhere with my two kids (5 and 3) in it. They enjoy riding in it because they have enough space and each side has little pouches for them to put their snacks/cups in. The only issue I have had with this product is keeping the plastic cover rolled up. Mine doesn't roll up easily and there are a lot of straps, etc that do not make sense as to how they would be used to roll the cover up so it will stay.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It is a light weight and very easy to break down trailer. However, the seat belts seem crooked. When I put both of my little ones ( 3 and 1 yr old) in it and try to strap them down, the seat belt that goes in between their legs is not centered, making it uncomfortable for them. I have to just use the lap belt for them. This is very disappointing being that I spent so much money on it. Also, after several uses now, I find that I should have probably invested in the Burley that reclines, as my 1 yr old likes to fall asleep in it when we go out for rides. Maybe Burley should consider making that change to this model in the future. This Burley Honey Bee is smooth and you can’t feel the extra weight when pulling it on the bike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely happy with our choice! After months of looking at both burley and Thule trailers, we finally decided to go with the honey bee. It was the most economical choice but I don't find it lacking in any department. The process of getting the trailer on/off the hitch and the one step stroller conversion is amazingly simple. Its extremely light and maneuverable both as a trailer and stroller. I am very fond of the roomy storage space in the back and can fit my diaper bag as well as two grocery bags comfortably. The only issue we had was the hardware on the handle needed to be tighten when we got it otherwise the handle would move and "snap" when trying to lift the trailer over a curb using the handle. Highly recommend this trailer!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great buy I have about a year with my Burley Honey Bee. It's light and comfy for my boys ages 3 and 1. Love the storage space in the back. We use it as a bike trailer and as a stroller. It's great in cool weather because we close it and the kids are completely comfortable with a blanket inside. The only disappointment is that I wish I would have upgraded to the reclining Burley. My 1 year old always falls asleep on bike rides and his head gets in terrible positions. It also does not have a sunshade like the other models. I have to put a towel in the front when we face the sun to give the kids shade. Besides that, it's great and I get a lot of compliments from other parents. I end up feeling like a spokes person for Burley when I tell them about all the specs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easier to pull than I ever imagined! We have taken the burley out 3 - 4 times and love it! We bought a second attachment piece so there is one on both my husband and I's bike, this makes it easy to switch who is pulling. I was worried it didn't have a sun strip but that hasn't been a problem. I am very happy with the quick release on the wheels. It fits in the car top box or I can put a seat down in my Subaru Outback and put that with a bike in the trunk. I do wish it would recline a bit, even though there is a helmet "bucket" my daughter (29 months) looks uncomfortable with her head tilted forward. She doesn't complain though; and she is more than capable of letting us know when she is uncomfortable. She seems to love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought this on a whim and so glad I did. My daughter loves it and the rear storage is great for putting stuff in to go up to the pool or picnics or a small cooler with drinks and snacks. Very easy to pop together, genius how the wheels pop on and off for storage. It's made for two kids or just one child centered and then she has plenty of room to bring a stuffed animal or toys. Great product and although not cheap well worth the price. I do wish it had the sunscreen like the other models but I'm sure I can easily add something.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is by far the best purchase that we made as parents. Well worth the money and great quality product. Folds down and fits in out trunk no problem. The only suggestion that I would make to Burly is maybe an acsessery bike rack that would attach to the back for my child's bike for when he is learning to ride. He gets tired and will witch from his bike to the trailer often. The storage area on the bumble bee is large enough for his bike but I think that customers would get a lot of use out of a attachment like that.

Hello, I'm planning on using this trailer with my 85 lbs. dog, I wanted to know if there's an option tu buy it from you with the rigid floor and retaining loops for the pet's leash instead of the harness for kids, or if you recommend a way to adapt it.

Asked by: Manurf90
We can't really advocate modifying the trailers as that voids the warranty, however if I was determined to do this I would say the following: The first thing to note is that the seat does not drop totally flat on the Honey Bee like it does on the Encore, D'Lite Solo and Cub. So on the Honey Bee you would have to remove the seat to make room. Something to consider. We do not sell a rigid floor designed for adapting the child trailers to pet trailers. However the stiff material in the floor of the Tailwagon is a material called Coroplast (if you google it you will find vendors) which you can purchase elsewhere and then cut it to the correct size so that it doesn't slide around. You could also use wood but that would be heavy. As for the leash retaining loops I would recommend simply looping the leash around the trailer frame or one of the connection points where the seat meets the frame and that would work.

I got another question, would this trailer fit a 29" front-suspension mountain bike?

Asked by: Manurf90
Almost certainly yes, but it has to do with the rear hub of your bicycle where they connect. You will want to check out the Hitch and Adapter Guide for information on hitching: https://burley.com/hitch-and-adapter-guide/

Wanted to know if the red car can be put the two small front wheels type cart

Asked by: Juanma
Juanma, No. The Honey Bee is not compatible with the two wheel stroller kit. If you would like to use the two small front wheels you will want to buy the Encore, D'Lite or Solo!

Hello, I have a pashley bike and I would like to attach the burley honey bee to it. Does this product come with a vault attachment or is it only attached to the skewer? Is it possible to get a different attachment if that is the case?

Asked by: Alejandra
Out of the box the Honey Bee will come with the Steel Hitch. The Steel Hitch is an axle mounted hitch system. This will work on QR axles or nutted axles. We also offer the Classic Hitch as an option for connecting the trailer to your bicycle frame. Here's a link to our Hitch Guide: https://burley.com/hitch-and-adapter-guide/

Would really love the Honey Bee in that nice yellow colour, do you plan on adding any colour options?

Asked by: remvd
The color of the Honey Bee will remain the same red out of the box. Alternate covers can always be purchased to customize the look.

Can this model be used with the jogging attachment? If not, which model two-seaters can?

Asked by: Crosstrain
The Honey Bee is only compatible with the 1-Wheel Stroller Kit. The Encore, D'Lite, & Cub are all compatible with Jogger Kits.

Can one child sit in it or will it be off balance?

Asked by: Jenna
When seating a single child in our double child trailers Burley suggest seating them on the right hand side. This is a safe and balanced positioning.

Hi. Is ti possible to follow down the seats? Which features has Encore in comparison to Honey Bee?

Asked by: q232
The Honey Bee seat does not fold flat or recline. The Encore has a few more comfort features and can be used with all of the stroller, jogging, & ski accessories.
